Location: Madrid is located in the centre part of the Iberic Peninsula, a few kilometers north from Cerro de los Angeles (Angel´s Hill).
Climate: If you like the snow, you will love Madrid during the winter; it gets really cold and has frequent winter storms. During the summer, it gets really warm, especially during July and August; you can plan a trip to the beach!

Places to visit: the Prado´s Museum, one of the most important in the world, specially dedicated to the Painting. The National Archeological Museum, the Museum of the History of Madrid, better know as the municipal museum, has important pieces of Madrid's history.

Sports: Madrid is the birthplace of the Real Madrid team, an important icon in the European soccer league.
