  1. When do classes begin?
     In the intensive program (4 weeks) classes begin the first Monday of each month, the group class starts every Monday and students can take courses for as many weeks as they require. One on one classes start at any time.
  2. How long is each class?
    The classes consist of four academic hours (45 minutes each hour) with a 15 minute break.
  3. What is the minimum time period that I can enroll in individual and group classes? What is the maximum?
     There is no minimum and no maximum time frame that you can enroll in any of our classes. We are very flexible to your needs.
  4. What types of accommodations do you offer?
     We offer different living arrangements: you may choose to lodge in apartments with other students, with Chilean families, or if you desire a private apartment.You may rent by the week or by the month.
  5. The cost of staying with a family is $250 per week (550 per month). From what day to what day is considered a week (Monday to Sunday)?
     The cost is $250 per week with three meals starting with whichever day you arrive, seven days are counted as a week.
  6. What is the maximum number of students in your classes?
    There is a maximum of 6 students per level.
  7. Can I start with group courses and then change to private lessons?
    Yes it is possible, although the price is different.
  8. Do you have a schedule of excursions?
     Yes, we do. During the first week we take you on a tour of the wine route. For the second trip we take you to Isla Negra to visit the famous artist Pablo Neruda´s residence. The third is a tour of the elevators of Valparaiso which ends with a boat ride to the coast. At the end of your stay we offer a trekking trip which ends with a barbecue.
  9. Is it possible to have airport pickup?
    Yes it is possible; we will pick you up at the airport and take you to your house or apartment. This service costs 120 dollars.
  10. Where is your school located?
    The school is conveniently located in the center of Viña del Mar´ city, one block away from the subway station, and two blocks from the buses and taxis. We are next to Quinta Vergara, which is a very famous park, where a popular music festival takes place every year.
  11. Do students have access to the Internet?
    Yes, we have free wireless internet for our students; you just need to ask for the password when you arrive. We have computers that you may use that are equipped with internet connection.
  12. Do you offer programs for total beginners?
    We have programs for all the levels of Spanish even if you have never studied the language before.
  13. Will I receive a certificate upon completion of my program?
    You will receive a certificate upon the completion of the program. You will also receive a final gradeand begiven credit for the number of hours you study.
  14. What is the weather like in Viña del Mar?
    Viña del Mar has temperate weather; it reaches between 15º - 30º C in the summer months and between 10º - 15ºC during the winter months. In winter it characteristically rains a lot.
