Traveling in Mexico

Those groups or individuals wishing to travel in Mexico are given special attention and counseling in helping them get the most for their time and money.

COST OF LIVING IN MEXICO

APARTMENTS: From "very good" to "best available", modern apartments will average U.S. $550 to $1500 per month for two people. We do not arrange roommates in apartments. No meals included.

HOTELS: A single/double room at a discounted rate in a four star hotel in Guadalajara will average U.S. $50 per night. No meals included.

MEALS: A day´s complete meals in a good modern restaurant will be approximately U.S $30. Gourmets will have a most pleasant stay in Guadalajara, since a large number of restaurants cater to the most delicious Mexican and International specialties. Keep fresh seafood in mind. Prices for food in general are much lower than those in the U.S.

SHOPPING: Guadalajara is a shopper´s and artisan´s paradise. Visitors enjoy regular visits to our open markets, and you might be fortunate enough to be here during the artisan´s fair in October when artisans from all over Mexico come to diaplay and sell their wares at very low prices. Special attention should be paid to wooden, woven and leather goods.

MEXICO-U.S. MONEY EXCHANGE

The peso - U.S. dollar exchange rate is extremely favorable to visitors, and since the peso devalues a few cents virtually everyday, you may find your dollars being worth more each day during your stay in Mexico. Considering all that has been mentioned before; vacationing and studying in Mexico is a bargain.
